Show us the goodsOogie is correct when he says Wi-LAN hasn't showed us the goods yet. We've got a company with great possibilities but that hasn't translated YET into contracts that justify its market cap, over the long run.
There is a good chance that Wi-LAN will be able to deliver of its promises, but there are no guarantees. It would have been nice to see something a little more concrete come out of the meeting in California. However, I think we have to realize that the meeting was called as a response to Cisco's plan to release their technology. Hatim said as much in one press release. Perhaps, Wi-LAN is feeling a little defensive at this time. The market drove its stock price from 20 to 45, on pure speculation, when the real news probably won't be available for a few months.
So, in the mean time, we wait.
