RE: CGI to buy CSC?

RE: CGI to buy CSC?CB, You are correct. Cognicase was bought by CGI back in about 2002 (from memory). It was a good deal for the Cognicase shareholders because we would've been in trouble otherwise. We had the National Bank outsourcing deal, but not a lot else going for us. We got more for our shares that they ever would have been worth if CGI hadn't come along. In case you are interested, Ronald Briesebois (former Cognicase founder) started a company called Isacsoft (ISF). They've struggled, but could be an interesting penny stock play if you like to gamble. Back then I think CGI was trading for about $6.50, so we've seen some appreciation, but not much. It's been a tough year for us CGI faithful. Watch out though. CGI is predictably cyclical. Every year the stock goes up about 20 - 30% between November and February, then settles back down during the spring and summer. We should be sitting in the $8 - $9 by New Year. Happens every year.... watch and see. - Serge.
