RE: Minews Story ....M&A's

RE: Minews Story ....M&A'sI think what the market is saying, in regard to the Goldcorp deal is, there is such a thing as Too big... G's dividend is a paultry 1.5 cents/month $.18 / year I think investors would like to see a return on investment in the form of a much higher dividend rather than being on a constant M&A initiative. I think many investors would like to the the spoils of their investment in Goldcorp... and take advantage of the nice profits available with the rise in comodity prices.....JMHO I don't think the market wants the gold producers to become a single king kong... they want right size profitable companies that pay a GOOD dividend.... Look at how many trusts there are..... if the comodity side wants to grow in market cap, it needs to attract new money from other sectors.... currently there are paultry dividends in these stocks because they are constantly using the cash to eat each other, buying reserves rather than finding them.
