RE: DeBeers,
RE: DeBeers,SNO has only to get the sample out, crushed, bagged and transported to Grand Prarie... From that point on Debeers absorbes the cost of processing the sample producing concentrate. It is then split into 3 batches... 2 will be processed in Canada.. the 3rd goes to Debeers in SA where they will process that portion.
Debeers is doing this @ no charge presumably they will have more info than anyone else and have first oportunity to make a deal if they are interested....
The 2 batches in Canada will ensure Debeers does not take too much time processing their portion and keep thngs on the up and up...
I remember some controvers about some KRT samples suddenly having some large diamonds acknowledged long after processing.... apparently someone missed the big one's..... wink wink and about a year later they showed up..
SNO has the right indicator... green garnets... diamondiforous macros... ( many are fragments...! )
This is a long way from proving a minable valuable deposit but many factors are reducing the risk and making steps toward that end.
I make it out to be about 5 million tonnes so far , very rough calc of kimberlite drilled so far, open in 3 directions... even that amount could be minable if the grade and value are there..... the location and shallow depth of the sills and on dry land will enable even a small mine to have a minable deposit.
The large land position and other targets are blue sky. This multi layered sill suggest this it has some brothers and maybe a feeder system close by.
