RE: Local take on the deal - ak

RE: Local take on the deal - akI wish you well on this and yes it is sour grapes. I wont read the prospectus or anything else from this group as I will let my own history with the company guide me. Despite the strongest gold market probably in 25 years and despite all of the claims of gold in the ground, gold being produced, 10s of thousands of ounces of production, etc., etc., I saw my investement in the company drop by 70%. As I said that may be a miopic view of life, but its real. All I have to do is look at the stock portfolio value and compare that to the "book value" of when I bought it. It is inappropriate to try to put the blame on anyone but all I know is that I did not do anything in the direction of the company and its resources to cause this and as shareholders we are at the mercy of management and the markets. I don't know which caused what in this situation but I only focus on the end result, and for me I can think of many better ways of investing to lose 70% of what I put in. You have a different view of what may have happened and what will happen- I guess that is what investing is about- assessing the risks and the rewards and going with it. I just ran out of time / patience / trust / money with this particular one and for me there are better investments with management who have a better track record of production. Having said that I wish you well in your investments and hope that you have phenomenal returns on this.
