GOG BB

GOG BBA few random comments. First, I think there is a general tendency on most BB's to grossly overestimate the impact that posters can have on the trading value of a stock. We hear comments all the time that a poster is saying things in order to drive the share price down so they can buy cheap stock. We're preaching to the choir here folks - the big investment world out there isn't listening and couldn't care less about what goes on here. I agree that the insider's share sales were badly timed from a public perception point of view and that the president of GOG should be speaking to her about it. Why not communicate in some way with the president to make that point of view known? Implying that an insider is selling a relatively small shareholding in order to drive the price down so a friend could buy in is really quite silly. Any sign of that would be grounds for action by the securities people etc. and, in any case, it is highly unlikely either that it would happen or that it would be very successful or profitable. Nothing has changed with GOG - we await results. I would doubt very strongly that Mr. Roy was referring to GOG drilling when discussing the ECU progress - he probably meant that progress was being made on two fronts at the ECU mine. That's my guess anyway.
