RE: control samples
RE: control samplesI think what you are suggesting has some merrit and has been addressed in the splitting of the sample into 3 batches for final analysis... Would be good to take an additional control sample if SGF were to offer to process it.... Certainly the additional cost to extract such a sample would be minimal if done at the same time as the Debeers sample.
I too remember the 10 carrat diamond that showed up over a year later from KRT....
Just think what a 10 ct diamond would do to SNO's share price ... LOL
From NR: Sept 7th
The up to 500 tonnes of kimberlite to be extracted for sampling will be crushed and bagged on-site for onward shipment to the De Beers Canada Exploration dense media separation plant in Grand Prairie, Alta. As reported in Stockwatch April 12, 2005, Snowfield has accepted an offer from De Beers to process this bulk sample at no cost to Snowfield and with no obligation from Snowfield.
After processing, it is management's intention to split the concentrate into three smaller batches and use two laboratories in Canada and the De Beers laboratory in Johannesburg, South Africa, for diamond recovery. This will provide enhanced quality control for the diamond recovery process.
