RE: OLEPF

RE: OLEPFAquaistq is right, some of the web brokers will give a "security not found" or "invalid ticker" error message for things that trade through the Other OTC or PinkSheets. Last year I had shares of Tanganyika Oil in an Ameritrade account, buying them wasn't a problem but the sell order wouldn't go through. I had to call their trading desk and place the trade with a broker when it was time to sell. Since they merged with TD Waterhouse I have never had problems with TSX listed stocks that have OTC tickers. With Oromin on the OTC BB it will be easier for people that use some of these brokerages to buy shares of the stock. It is also easy to now get real time intraday quotes for investors in the US.
