KFS seems to me to be an ideal buy/hold for the longer term.
In the current environment when investors flee resource stocks they migrate to KFS. When resource stocks go up KFS still trades well.
Investors are beginning to see that P+C companies are coming in to a better market and combined ratios should improve.
With interest rates continuing to tick up KFS's investment portfolio is well situated to benefit since the portfolio is skewed to short term bonds.
KFS should see $30 in the short term and could well continue to migrate higher as solid quarterly results are delivered and conditions for KFS's business continues to improve.
