Pharma walked?

Pharma walked?Someone mentioned that a Pharma probably walked as the reason for the decline.... So what....? Yes the market, those insiders that may have realized talks have broken off may see this as a set back and panick sell...but unless they know the reason for the Pharma walking away, selling is the dumbest thing they could do. What reason could they have walked other than for the terms of the offer...I mean the product is proven effective and safe..what else other than money could drive them away - and don;t say FDA approval was not granted - because IMO - that can;t be true or we would have known that by now. So, lets say the pharma walked away because Chicoine did not like their offer BUT Chicoine cutoff the talks and started negotiations with another pharma??? The benefit of walking away is that the new pharma would see that Chicoine is not afraid of walking away when he is d*cked around...this would be in my view a good way to negotiate, especially if you had the feeling that you were not going to get anywhere and especialy if there were a number of suitors waiting in line..show the big bad wolves that you are not scared to walk when you're being screw*d with. The way I see it, Pennsaid is a great product, entering the market at a great time (post vioxx fiasco), with numerous studies showing its effectiveness and safety - what else could you ask for. We all know that with the right advertising strength and influence of a BIG pharma, this product (or almost any product with similar characteristics) should be a cash cow...and if I were a big Pharma, I would not risk losing exclusive rights at this late stage of the game - with FDA around the corner. Rememeber, the FDA did not deny their fist submission of Pennsaid, they wanted more studies done - which Nuvo did. The resubmission is done, with the aid of an ex-FDA member - who in addition to heling prepare the submission, also gave his opinion that based on the FDA's request and the results of the recent studies - FDA approval is a given - not exact words but you get the point --> BUY MORE SHARES NOW! I expect a huge bounce back when the real story gets out and Dan finally announces a partner in the next few weeks - prior to FDA approval.
