My point though is you can't look at crude inventories in isolation If crude goes up but distillates and gasoline drop there is actually a drop in total inventories.Last week that drop was 5 million barrels more or less.When refineries crank back up the crude inventories will drop to make up for the drop in refined products last week.If you add on the decrease in OPEC production it seems possible we might suddenly see a 10 million barrel decrease sometime in the next few weeks after the refineries have completed thie maintenance. Somehow the market is overlooking that and right now not pricing it in.
