2006-10-19 18:33 ET - News Release See News Release (C-NUX) New Pacific Metals Corp Dr. Rui Feng of New Pacific reports KANG DIAN OPTION AGREEMENT SHARE ISSUANCE New Pacific Metals Corp. has issued the final tranche of two million shares to Silvercorp Metals Inc. pursuant to the option agreement reported in Stockwatch on March 5, 2004. Under the option agreement, the company agreed to issue Silvercorp a total of 6.5 million shares as consideration for the Kang Dian property, located in Sichuan province China. Silvercorp now holds 6.5 million shares of the company, representing 27.31 per cent of the company's issued and outstanding shares.
