USA Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other related activities within the United States. Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

Earnings at $1.65 vs .30 last year. This should get ECA moving upward I would think. What I like is that they are 93% hedged at $7.28 for the rest of the year and are hedged at about 33% at $8.73 for 2007. This will make sure cash flow is there. Also they bought back over 17 million shares at around $51. Nice going ECA.
