RE: Shambano
Yes I agree that China & India will be big users in the future and they are growing every year but they don't compare to USA. The US consumes the most energy in the world and they will continue to be the world leaders for many years to come.
And if USA goes recession it will impact even China and India because they won't be importing as much junk from these countries, and their economies will slow down as well.
My point is that with less room to wiggle in the refinancing of homes and using the debt to buy stuff the US consumers needs to find cash through other means and one of these is reduced energy spending and I think the government is very aware of this new found cash and they will try very hard to keep prices in the lower ranges.
Like I said before I could be totally off base here and we might get run-away inflation but I doubt it with a 6 month inventory of resale homes on the market in the states.
They need help to get out of this and energy prices will be one way to find cash to buy some food.
I still own TLM and I'm waiting for q3 and any news regarding sales of assets and future plans for oil sand leases are it an outright sale or a partner deal with a mining company.
My target for TLM was 21-22 range especially if you consider that they are a short list for takeovers but everyone forgets that they just group TLM with other energy plays.
Just like SHC, TLM will surprise the market one day soon, IMHO.
Cheers and GLA
