I just watched the show on the web. He was smiling a lot when he said that the news was very price sensitive. He also explained earlier that there was fewer environmental problems with this sort of mining than with landbased mining. And he compared with the oil and gas industry and the dredging industry. It is almost certainly something positive. But what can it be? He also stated earlier that they would like to stay independent for a long time. Would he say that if they were in takeover negotiations? Maybe some agreement with a smelter paying all expenses from now on? Or could it be drill results showing a very high tonnage of massively high grade material? Some extremely high grade gold assay? And they just want to double check everything before they release the news, and they have to halt the stock because there are people in the labs that know about this? It is fun to speculate but I don't know anything. Why is it that they don't tell us what the reason for the halt is? After all the stock is halted and we cannot trade on the information anyway? Why this secrecy?
