disguised maneuver
disguised maneuver The break-up of the current company (NWI) may result in two new companies with a lower combined share count when added together. This will allow significant dilution to finance mine start-up costs for the nickel company, as well as, finance exploration costs for the other non-nickel projects. A recent example of this was the spin-off of Diamonds North Resources (DDN) and Commander Resources (CMD) in the break-up of Major General (MGJ) in 2002. Potentially, somewhat of a disguised maneuver that I don’t like buying into at the moment.
