Good for us that are buying heavy now. "If" Lowes chooses to go the buy route, I don't think the price being suppressed is going to affect their decision at all. Keeping the price as high as possible will also show that there is value in the purchase. It would not be an asset purchase so much as the purchase of a pipeline to the market. My practice has been to buy for the long term, but buy and sell on the swings. I'm looking to increase my position on the swings and hold to $40.00 or a possible buyout.
