RE: what the heck was that all aboutI use interactivebrokers to buy and sell my shares. I can see what is going on. I see the bids and the ask prices and the corresponding volume. I know, but what if you are an innocent investor and you see the stock closing at -5% or so? Fear is a perfect motivator. Maybe this investor sells his stocks for the last known price, although only 100 stocks or less were traded at that price by a daytrader. That daytrader enters a buy at or below that price and maybe he is lucky the next day the market opens.
