RE: A New PRESIDENT of MTXThere was no mention for any changes of the President's position at AGM. Chad was 1 of 2 personnel voted in. It would now appear that there is one vacancy but it doesn't mean MTX will fill it. Looking back on the news, it would appear that management knew this was going to happen at some point and wanted someone on the BOD who could take the position.
We didn't hear about any licence renewals coming up on T1 either for that matter, although I guess we could have went back a few years and kept track of the expiry dates. Then again, that court case came up in the summer out of the blue that eventually affected the MTX T1 property. This I believe should have been mentioned when it happened. IMO.
For me, I decided to sell a large portion of my holdings and take the hit. There have been other opportunities that have passed me by over the last while and it is unlikely that MTX will drill any properties overseas over the next few months as they will need more money.
I will likely revisit acquiring shares again in MTX some time next year but not until: 1. They get their permits back for T1, 2. They get a large JV partner, 3. They raise a lot more money to develop their external properties, or 4. They create a new company to hold the foreign assets and sell off a percentage to raise money for operations. But this is just me. More later.
