RE: Gord, Surfer, others

RE: Gord, Surfer, othersI'd like to add my kudos for Gord for fighting back the regular doom & gloom coming from ML. I agree with all posters who feel that ML goes over the top and is plain rude sometimes, but as i've hypothesized, I'm pretty sure he posts for economic reasons and not just to express a point of view. He is on the board almost constantly. If he isn't retired, then I would make the case that watching this message board and reporting on it is part of his job. For instance, what if he works for one of the big brokerage houses and has big orders from RT, which wants to start accumulating the extra 6% they are allowed to under the agreement but wants to do it at lower prices. ML gets on the board and tries to scare the living daylights out of all the shareholders, stretching every bit of news into a doomsday scenario. Lo and behold, 10,000 shares get freed up at a lower asking price . . . Putting him on ignore might not be a bad idea, but not everything he posts is nonsense. In any event, one thing for sure is that we won't push him off the board by talking back. He thrives on the attention.
