RE: Bull BoardsGood post F.F.
Anyone who thinks that these bullboards do not affect a stock's share price is ill-informend about human psychology and it's subsequent buying or selling behavior.
If you have 300 of the world's most intelligent people in a theatre and you yell: "FIRE", I guarantee you they will all exit in a hurry and then ask questions later, even though they are brilliant people.
Similarly, a propagandist(shorter) can reek havoc on a particular stock,(by: in effect yelling fire) by posting alarming half-truths and he/she will definitely affect some share-holders and influence them to sell. Shortly afterwards, a snow-ball effect may take hold and send a stock plummeting down. The people who had sold ,regardless of how smart they are, will then ask questions after the fact, and like the people who vacated the theatre because of a supposed fire threat, may find that it was all a hoax.
Don't kid yourselves..the stock market is heavily influenced by human psychology. I have little respect for shorters in the market...
Just my two-cents worth....
