RE: Tax Loss Selling, FootstepsYou made the statement "It is more likely that the perception of Tax Loss Selling is being used to someone's advantage."
Any idea on what that advantage might be?
If someone with 30m shares decides to take a tax break, then they can buy the share's back at a higher price and still make money due to the tax break.
I have no idea what's going on, but it makes sense to me it could be tax loss selling. If someone was going to let's say buy out Sirit, wouldn't they be accumulating stock instead of selling it? Of course they could try and decimate the PPS and pick up the company on the cheap.
Sirit has cash flow, money in the bank, good products, a prominent position in industry. The only unknown is how much in new sales, wasn't it stated at the last CC the 510 was in fact shipping?
Does anyone know if Sirit has a poison pill to prevent a hostile takeover?
