RC~~~" southern zone measures about 1,500 by 150 metres, with an average reported grade of 0.024 per cent uranium over a 0.7-metre thickness. B.C. government assessment report No. 8105 reports total drill-indicated reserves estimated to be 2.25 million tonnes grading 0.0373 per cent uranium to yield 840,000 kilograms or 1,851,000 pounds of uranium (2,178,000 pounds of U308)."
RC--either I'm doing something wrong, or these numbers don't make any sense or this is extremely low grade.
I'm figuring 2.25 million tons (and i figured short tons--2000#) is 4,500,000,000 #. The grade of a mine I'm most familiar with is mi vida's----it ran about 8# to the ton, which I would write as .4% or .004 without using %,
This release uses .0373 %----Now, to me, if I say .1 of a dollar, I'm talking about a dime. If I say .1 % of a dollar, I'm talking about a 1/10 of a penny. 1% of a dollar is a penny.
Anyway, I don't understand their numbers----if they meant to say---hell, i don't know what they meant to say---if it was comparable to mi vida's---8 # to the ton---there'd be close to 18 million pounds---
A simpler way of looking at it would be there's 2 1/4 million tons or ore, there ain't 2 1/4 million pounds of uranium, so it ain't running even a pound to a ton.
I have no interest here--saw your post on daves board, so took a look---trying to figure out if my heads broke or if i'm missing something. Help!
