RE: Mis-spoke
RE: Mis-spokeFirst of all, thank you groden for your informative contributions.
But let us take another approach for the spud date:
Original plans mid year were about to spud LV end of december.
Original plan to finish Shelley was end of november.
So we are now (officially) about 3 weeks behind shedule.
That would result in a new spud date for LV around end of january, beginning of february.
There is some rumor about finishing Shelley next week, and I agree with you that Kildare will also take longer than 40 days.
(There is no official information on how long it will take, just rumors)
So a spud date of early or mid february doesn't sound too optimistic to me, though I also can easily accept end of february.
This calculation assumes that the Sedco staff will work during the holidays.
Also LV will not be an appraisal drill, so I expect results for this discovery drill very quickly.
maybe we can start a bet here? I say: News release about LV results on march 22. (evening)
