RE: something fishy about the LPBP sale allocatioThe proceeds of the sale of assets is being returned to shareholders of LPBP as a (non taxable) return of capital according to the notice to the LPBP shareholders - not via a (taxable) dividend. Since this must be paid equally to all shreholders on a pro rata basis, I do not understand how a .01% shareholder gets over 42% of the proceeds?? As to PLI, there is no relation to the situation at MDS and LPBP. I just posted here since I assumed many of you may be interested in the aftermath of HML or be LPBP shareholders.
