RE: where is.....::..do they have to wait until Dec 31st 11:59pm to make an announcement? Is it that bad?:: If they announce before the tax loss sell off date of Dec 22, then they give people hope that something is around the corner and they will hang on to their stock. If they wait until after Christmas, then expect to see some selling on or before Dec 22 as people write the stock off as a tax loss. So I would see it as bad news if there is no news by Dec 22.
