RE: MOA Hit 44% ZINC and now today...Thanks for the nice words bjwl. Yes NG is a real success story based on the traditional way of building shareholder value over time; and yes I did have some of those $.40 shares.
Sometimes people get lucky and are on a stock that makes a new discovery, but really these are rare. It is through hard work on the ground(just like what MOA and EET and NG are doing) that leads to long term appreciation. If you dig in deep and find a company with real property potential don't expect it to be fair valued until it is "proven" to the institutions. NG has done this, EET is very close and MOA is just beginning. This of course gives MOA a tremendous upside should they succeed from here.
So first to your #2 question. I do not have an exit stategy. It is my feeling that MOA will continue build value. It is possible that that someone will see the potential of their 3 main assets(BP, VL and ED) and will make an offer for any or all of them. I hope that this does not happen for a while until more value gets built. It would take a very high premium to get the strong shareholder base to agree to any purchase.
As for target price and time frame, the price guess is much easier for me then the time, but it does seem necessary to set some benchmarks. There is enough going on right now in the the way of development plans to attempt this. I am not going to detail all my thoughts. It would take too long. Soooooo, my personal targets have been, for quite some time, $.85 this year. I quick rise to $1.25 early in the New Year. A doubling to $2.50 sometime durning 2007. I would like to think MOA will hit $4.00 in time. I consider all these numbers conservative in "Price" and obtainable in "Time".
It is easliy possible that Bobby's Pond alone could support these times/numbers and more. I believe that the drilling numbers in the last NR clearly show that BP has a resource in the ground of many many $100's of millions and with an updated RPA 43-101 report early in the New Year, the resource value could get 3 more 000's added. There will be at least 1 more NR soon on the drilling and it should report more very good numbers. The other 2 holdings(VL and ED)are both very active and news is also pending. Both are not being valued anyways near properly in my opinion, especially the ED South African Diamond holding. The "CIBC World Market Initial Coverage Report" released this week on EET highlights this. Included in this report is an estimate that, when applied to MOA's % holding, values MOA's % at nearly $1.50 per share. Yes this is correct; $1.50 a share for MOA! So there.
So for Q #1...I have lots I am participating in but still not willing to give a prediction until I get a better feel. I think good ZINC companies should be seriously overweighted and of course good numbers on developing gold companies that are delivering good moves them nicely. I see 2007 as one of the times that happens every so often in specualtive mining stocks where excitement will be around every corner. Find some good companies with good management, get in early and go for a ride...this is my hope...C.G.
