Occam's Razor

Occam's RazorI always scan what is said on SI (Cdn. Diamond Play Cafe), as occasionally there appears something of interest. However WillP's post brought a smile to my face. I think the bloke means well, but his grasp of reality has gone to his head. Even James - who bailed on MPV and now leads the Peregrene bandwagon - sees merit in what WillP believes. The bobbsy-twin comments on MPV led me to respond as follows ..... " ... more accurately I'd say it will be interesting to see what the TIGs decide on. Many of us are expecting that some interesting (positive) surprises await us in 2007. None of us has a crystal ball, although some "experts" seem to think they do. I've been a solid investor in both MPV and CFV (as a balanced part of my investment portfolio) since the mid 60s range for both, and when the takeover is finalized - I still predict that a third Canadian based suitor will eventually win MPV - I'll be putting away my lectern and overhead and seriously considering retirement... " This shakeout we've had I would think has allowed DeBeers and its associates to add to their positions (despite what the NR said), but also there appears to be significant insider buying going on (with the likely exception of our Mr. Whittle). 2007 will prove very interesting. Those of us who have fastened our seat belts will do very well. Over here we're a seafaring nation, so seasickness isn't in our genes . Cheers, Brit
