Wow Getting interesting around here. Gary, well articulated post. I think everyone, except me, took Richard too lightly. The guy made a big hit on the North American Palladium, and like a lot of people who make it big, they want it again. He knows, as I do, that this operation is the biggest potential winner in Canada. He is also a relatively young guy, and has enormous patience.
I think the fact that James White, who I know only by reputation, has been buying the crap out of this stock, makes me think you could be wrong on the dilution side. Oh there may be some, but I don't think it will be onerous. No, I think Richard sees a big win here, and perhaps, he really just didn't want to share it with you. Which is too bad really.
If he gets smarter than he already is, and he is plenty smart, he will hire a fellow who comes relatively cheap(5-10k a month and options) who wants to do similar to Richard, and that is carve his reputation into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame, and take the stock to three dollars before the June board meeting. If he gets this done, who is going to vote him out? Not me.
If he doesn't I would imagine that you could be right, he might get outvoted. But judging by his moves so far, I would bet that he is already in discussions with some power players now.
Gold is going a lot higher this year according to my sources, and these sources are the kind of people that bet with billions, not chicken feed, and their paranoia about paper money is bordering on humorous, but since their net worth dwarfs mine, I am not laughing too hard at them.
The only thing everyone here has to know is that some BIG success stories in the mining area, ALL, in my opinion, confered with GLOBAL powerful IR, and got the job done. SWG, ARU, NOT, PGDP, GGL, etc.... all in my opinion combined great fundamentals with knowing how to get the message out in EUROPE, CHINA and NORTH AMERICA. I hope whoever is in charge around here, knows the new order. If they do, they won't get outvoted, they will be loved.
