Mr. Frank Wells reports
SCS Solars Computing Systems has signed two long-term contracts with large and well established air consolidators.
Trans Am Travel
A major U.S.-based air consolidator and present customer of the Solarnet database has entered into a new agreement to use the Solarnet newswire. Trans Am has experienced difficulty in distributing its last minute sell-offs and special fares and views the newswire product as the solution. Trans Am continues its use of the database product and sees the newswire as the perfect complement.
Skybird Travel and Tours
One of the oldest air consolidators in the U.S., established in 1976, Skybird is headquartered in Detroit, Mich., and has four offices across the United States. Arvin Shan, owner, recognized Solarnet as the primary source for on-line distributions to the U.S. base of travel agents who access the more than 186,000 terminals nationwide.
