3 near-term uranium producers
3 near-term uranium producers
THIS IS A STOCKHOUSE BLOG POWERED BY CHARTROOM, YOU ARE INVITED TO REVIEW IT @ https://www.stockhouse.ca/blogs.asp?page=viewblog&blogid=549
There are over 100 companies on TSX/TSXv related to URANIUM.
Chartroom would like to introduce you 3 of those undervalued & near-term producers
TSX: UMN
URAMIN INC
$4.15 close today
After sucessful IPO in London, UK. Uramin is now listed under TSX
It went up from $48 in 3Q 2006 to now $160 (UK Pound)!!!

UMN will be one of the few near-term producer in Q4 2007. For TSX news in Canada, UMN will commence drilling at Athabasca Basin in Alberta in upcoming spring. Land was option from DRA, the CEO of DRA Alvin Jackson was the ex-director/president of Eurozinc. With more news coming from Africa+Canada, watch UMN to DOUBLE/TRIPLE/QUADRUPLE in months.
(For those whom hold AXU from IPO, you know what uranium stocks are all about ;) )
TSX: URE
UR-ENERGY INC.
$3.99 close today
URE is another NEAR-TERM producer, production expected to start in 2008 or early 2009. Permitting in U3O8 friendly state Wyomin is expected to complete in 2007 or early 2008. However, short term URE might pull back a bit as Thelon Basin (Screech Lake Project) is getting opposition from first nations. Chartroom suggests everyone to BUY during any possible short-term pullbacks.

TSX: FIU
First Uranium Corp.
$8.10 close today
FIU is another 2007 producer, however it is quite mis-leading. FIU is producing GOLD in 2007, U3O8 in Q4 2008. Chartroom does not believe FIU will go triple/quadruple, but it could be a easy double stock. Only 30% of the company is trading on public, the remaining 69.6% are being held by the parent company Simmer & Jack Mines Ltd. It means FIU is gonna be a lower risk U3O8 stock, take-over spec is not very likely to happen either.
