Any info on how the community views U mining

Any info on how the community views U mining Hi - I am long GEM and IMT - I have been searching the internet to see if there is any news about whether the community of Elliot Lake is okay with the mining of uranium again. (Reason: Here where I live in BC, a limestone quarry is in the process of being opened and the communities near it are protesting.) If anyone has a link to this info would you please post. On page 34 of Environmental Consequences of Uranium Mining (https://www.tegenstroom.nl/pdf/seminar/diehl.pdf) is an aerial view of the Quirke tailings, Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada, 1999 (Rio Algom Ltd.) IMO this company will be as quick as possible to get the production started to take advantage of the 'uranium shortage' that will be in the years 2007-2008-2009 as per the analysts in the industry. Thanks to all those for the great info posted here. Su
