RE: Bema Investor to Oppose Kinross Takeover
RE: Bema Investor to Oppose Kinross TakeoverIf Tradewinds had heard of VIT's results why cry about Bema not getting a better value. Dump your Bema shares and buy VIT shares. You certainly will see better price appreciation with VIT than you will with Bema based on shares outstanding. This is not rocket science.
Now it looks like about 17 million shares have traded in the last two weeks which is around 30% of the outstanding shares (excluding those shares owned by Kinross/Bema). Pendragon has posted the houses that have been trading (much appreciated). Other than Anonymous and Pl most of the other transactions can be explained as normal trading. I sometimes think TD Sec represents the retail sector like you and me especially on these BB.
Now Tradewinds (bless them) has this hissy fit and people are going to say why? They would have to mention that recent results from VIT make Bema's bid undervalued. This brings another round of new investors into the mix (perhaps more retail investors,fund/hedge managers) that were not aware of VIT. They dump their Bema and move to VIT which may explain the price jump near the end of the Friday's trading. What will happen when the weekend investors go over the weeks trading and digest the news?
Now we have volume, we have share price increases, not a lot of shares outstanding, we have good results, and hopefully more to come. Also we have analysts expecting gold to have another run to the $700 this year with good chance of a new high. We have major gold company support, Nevada as a safe harbour for exploration, and gold discovery history on our side. The only thing I can think of not in our favour is a big name analyst pounding the table on ROBTV (or CNBC) recommending VIT. They may be waiting for the next results before they put their reputation on the line.
Yes, it may be time to take a vacation but when you have so much in your favour I'd prefer to stick around and watch the action. These shares have been on vacation far too long, I'm having a vacation just watching all this action. Have a great weekend and happy dreaming.
