CAE awarded contracts for five flight simulators
CAE Inc. has signed contracts worth $75-million to supply five full-flight simulators to three airlines, including Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Co., the company said yesterday. Another airline has ordered a Boeing 737-800 simulator and an Airbus A330/340 simulator, and a third airline has ordered two Boeing 777 simulators, CAE said. All three airlines have also ordered additional suites of training devices. The orders brings to 29 the total number of full-flight simulator sales that CAE has announced in the 2007 financial year.
