RE: What Is the Scoop?Hi Louise. I spoke to John at the Vancouver Show the other day where I picked up the book "The Color of Oil" co-authored by Michael Economides and Ronald Oligney. I haven't had time to finish it yet but it shows pretty much how RO thinks. I believe you would like it because in it he spells out his philosophy regarding business and especially, the oil and GAS business. Now he has the vehicle to put his ideas on the road so hold on tight. This man is a dynamo that is so far ahead of the pack he's in a league all of his own IMO.
Back on the 20th of this month nopoo posted a response on SH and in it he said quite a bit for so few words. In the NR's from the old BDR and now OPA, there is quite a bit of information also with very few words. Nopoo eludes to OPA as possibly being a $ billion dollar market cap company and to the majority of people who ride the Venture trail, hype goes with the territory so most of the BS emanating from the Consolidated Dogturd Resources pumper types is just that, BS. Not so with nopoo or Ron Oligney. When reading about RO's shiny new chariot, please read between the lines as well. Over on nopoo's private board "Aheadoftheherd.com" there is of course much more serious discussions about not only OPA but other winners as well.
Looking at the NR's they mention the term "Superimposed" several times and refer to that as adding 'high value exploration opportunities'. What that means is, the normal drilling that we are so used to seeing on the Venture Exchange would be the norm for most penny dreadfuls so the grease-ball running the show could lease another SUV for his kid. Not so with OPA, as the normal rent-paying wells will never get you that brass ring but they allow one to try and hit the jackpot every few months or so. But you have to have a pretty good idea where those giants are located.
It's those big ones "Interspersed" with the regular drilling that will turn this company into a mid-term market cap company. I suggest you Google Ron Oligney to get a handle on who the man is and where his expertise lies. On the Texas Golf Coast where OPA will do it's work, there are many 'small' companies with billion dollar or higher Market Caps. It's no big deal there.
They have a drilling plan and as well, they have a future. One cannot proceed without the other if they wish to stay in the game so be patient for a little while longer Louise and as nopoo says; "The first stated goal is a $Billion MC." From there, will they retreat or go forward? There is only one direction from a guy who can write a book like "The Color of Oil". Don't let the funny people shake you out.
thx, oth
