PureI read an article a few weeks back where northern native bands were attempting to compare canadian diamonds to that of blood diamonds. The feeling was that the bands are being left out of the loop with regards to mining in their territorial lands, not only financially, but environmentally as well. I am not implying that this is what is happening here.
