RE: CHAIR RIGHT/WRONGI think you're observation that the warrants have less to do with the SP being this low is correct. Not that the warrants didn't put a damper on the stock, but in my opinion this is the problem, note the date. NOV. 24th, 06

ACQUISITION OF CONTROL OF MCCALLAN
Regent Ventures Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has issued notice today to Hans Dietmann, of Vienna, Austria, that it is exercising the option, granted by Mr. Dietmann in the Company’s agreement with him dated June 22, 2006 (the "Agreement"), to acquire from him an additional 6% interest in the share capital of McCallan Oil & Gas (UK) Ltd. ("McCallan"). With this acquisition, the Company will have 51% of the issued capital and control of McCallan.
Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, to acquire the additional 6% interest in McCallan, the Company must issue to Mr. Dietmann, immediately, 11,700,000 shares in the capital of the Company. The issue of these shares on this acquisition removes the obligation to issue the 11,700,000 Contingent Shares on the acquisition of the second 22.5% interest in McCallan (see the Company’s News release dated June 27, 2006).

The fact is that all the key announcements related to this deal never seem to close or get the needed exchange approval. The deal simply has not moved a step closer from where we were a year ago, hence the share price is languishing closer and closer to it's 52 week low.
I don't think there is any question that if the share price even slightly reflected what "has" been accomplished to date, we would be, once again, venting our frustrations on a BB.
The truth is Curtis, you have made numerous calls to management, emailed them, faxed them, and it hasn't changed a thing, and it won't. So, when we see an excuse of convenience being used for the lack of progress, and that time passes only to see once again that it was just an excuse, the natives get restless.
Now, personally, I don't believe that our rants on this BB are anymore effective than calling or emailing the company but I understand what has lead to the frustration level reaching such a point.
