RE: Foolish FredHere Here Fred!!! Perfectly said. Peggy is chairman of the Board. Peggy IS involved in Tamerlane but is not directly running the company. Peggy IS a risk to owning Tamerlane but only because her rep seems to be slammed continually because they have floundered at her company ,Century, for a while here.
I also bought in because of the mineral in the ground, the amazing amount of infrastructure in place, the supportive local community, the president working as a geologist at the mine when it was opperating, no debt, etc. The ridiculously low valuation. The good certainly outweights a little tarnish from having Peggy as chairman of the board IMO
p.s. This has also turned into a fun little trading stock. I have traded 15000 shares in and out a few times now. By in at near .45 and sell at .50. I believe a lot of the volume we see are those just having some fun and making a small profit on the swing trades.
