RE: Earnings

RE: Earnings 2006 EPS - $8.73/share Cash net of debt ~$12/share Take the current share price of $61 and net out the $12/share in cash gives us a P/E of $49/8.73 = 5.6. The company plans to increase production over the next few years. Hard to go wrong with this one...unless of course metal prices were to really tank... if so I would expect it would be short term... in the long term we are looking fine. I wonder if someone will eventually come along and acquire this company. Could Inmet be one of the 12 'projects' is considering with its $5.3 billion in cash? John
