100% wood

100% woodDid Compliance execs know the 100% sequestration was coming? They were sure fast with the 100% wood response. A couple of advantages for Compliance in using coal is that the power co would be buying it from the coal co, but it was all in the family, and who knows how much waste coal that would have to be disposed of anyway, would make its way into the mix? There are at least two problems with wood: 1. the power co needs to buy it all for real money and 2. the beetle kill will be available for only a few years, yet Compliance has a much longer-term EPA with BC Hydro. Where's that wood going to come from when the beetle kill runs out? I'm kind of leaning to the 25 cent dead cat bounce analysis.
