APPOINTS DR. RODNEY KIRKHAM, PH.D, TO ADVISORY COMMITTEE Candorado Operating Company Ltd. is appointing Dr. Rodney Kirkham to the company's geological advisory committee. Dr. Kirkham has been involved with mining in British Columbia for over 45 years and has authored numerous publications. Dr. Kirkham graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor of science in 1960 and a master in science in 1963, and a PhD in geology from the University of Wisconsin, and has enjoyed a 47-year career in the Canadian mining industry. His career has included projects with Newmont Mining Corp. involving mapping and exploration in the Unuk River area of northwestern British Columbia, and seven years with the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum. During his 29 years of employment as a research scientist in the mineral resources division of the Geological Survey of Canada, he ran a multidisciplinary study documenting the geology and mineral deposits in the Sulphurets area of British Columbia and also co-ordinated a digital generalized geological map and mineral database on world copper deposits with 13 corporate sponsors which resulted in several publications. Between 1988 and 1992, Dr. Kirkham co-ordinated a major workshop in China on world copper deposits and a conference in Canada on mineral deposit modelling that resulted in a 798-page volume published by the Geological Association of Canada in 1995. In 1998, he won the Duncan R. Derry Medal, the highest award of the mineral deposits division of the Geological Association of Canada. He has since been a volunteer to the Geological Survey of Canada, constructing world mineral databases on porphyry, related skarn, bulk-tonnage epithermal deposits, sediment-hosted stratiform copper deposits and selected major world mineral deposits of all types. In 2002, as president and chief executive officer of Asia Now Resources Ltd., Dr. Kirkham acquired valuable mineral deposits and exploration areas in Yunnan province in China, and between 2005 and 2006 staked over 30,000 hectares in the very active Stewart region of British Columbia (15 drill projects in the area with several gold and base metal discoveries). ) 2007 Canjex Publishing Ltd.
