Just for fun

Just for funI used to subscibe to Investors Digest from 1997-2003.. In the process of cleaning house. So I found my old issues.. Thought I'd look up Sirit nothing.. But quite a few articles about SMY.. Heres one from Sept 2000.. and I quote.... It appears increasingly likely SAMsys Technologies (SMY-ME $2.20)featured Feb 1999 at $.50, 12month high $8, can win a substantial share of the emerging wireless radio frequency tracking market. RFID tracking is expected to greatly increase efficiences in global supply chain, baggage handling, postal asset protection industries,to name a few. Leading global RFID chip and tag makers are lending credibility to SAMSys claim that its patent pending'Universal Tag Reader' will encourage the entire industry to take off. Since april, Philips Semiconductors, Texas Instruments, Gemplus, microchip and Inside Technologies have all allied with SAMSys, each company providing its own proprietary RFID protocols for inclusion in SAMsys's reader....ETC ETC ETC... Well we all know who has those readers..And they've been improved.. That was 7 years ago, RFID imo is just now starting to catch on.. We still don't have had any major companies using.. But there sure are some pilot project happening.. If you want me to post any more articles let me know.. Sometimes its interesting to look back.. Sirit has made alot of good moves in the past 18months..
