RE: Focus on “LOOK” and not UBS

RE: Focus on “LOOK” and not UBSwatchfuleye, while your questions are valid, I believe the full picture must be looked at. 1. UBS has an SRP instituted because a hostile take-over of UBS would in effect provide the aggressor with control of LOOK communications (i.e. 51% ownership). UBS is NOT for sale, LOOK is. That's correct. At the same time, Should someone come in and take over UBS, LOOK would in effect be sold in the package. 2. Lawsuit is stalled. You're right. Why hasn't it moved? I can only provide you with possiblities, no concrete answers: a. The companies (Rogers-Microcell, Allstream-MTS, and even Bell Canada as they own 50% of Inukshuk now) are applying stalling tactics in the hopes UBS would go bankrupt. b. Cases of this magnitude do take years to unfold. In our case, I believe it has taken an exceptionally long time due in large part to the companies changing hands so many times. 3. Should LOOK be sold, 51% of the proceeds will go to UBS and their shareholders. How the 51% of the assets will be allocated will be determined by UBS' management. Applying that reasoning, the best bang for your buck would be purchasing LOK.A shares. I hope this helps D-man b.
