Oil Spot Price

Hi Guys, Yesterday, on Nymex and Td Waterhouse, oil was in the $56 range. Now today, it's in the $59 range and it says 10 cents or so....yet it went up 3 bucks from yesterday. Why does this happen occasionally? Did they change from WTI to Brent or something. Thanks in advance
