info from inside

info from insideI work for repap. Have for 15 yrs. This is what you should know about the company. 1.wood: company buys it at a premium and also trucks it from their crown leases from as far away as 100 miles. This is not a big deal, considering most of the competitors (US) are buying Kraft pulp and groundwood and it cost them a lot more. 2. law suit: we only know what we read in the papers. everyone feels it is a shame the compnay doesn't spend of Berg's money on Captital expenditures. 3. We have a new contract, 6 yrs. We have great production, great quality, lots of orders, one of the fastest lowest cost producers in the world. Debt and bloodsucking banks and boards are killing us. 4. Rumour!! -- Managers we away last week, flew out on a charter jet to who knows where -- they are saying anything. Middle management who ar e in close contact with us daily have some theories: in talks with MEAD (one rumour has it we are as good as sold); the second theory is that the company may be looking to aquire or partner to adress their constant groundwood shortage and our kraft pulp surplus. Head dog's (Bud Nelligan) son in law (Steven Lynch, A1 OMC Coater Supt.) says it is a good time to buy. Not saying anymore that that. Hope this helps.
