CriticalControl awarded renewal of multi-million dollar contract with major government client CALGARY, April 2 /CNW/ - CriticalControl Solutions Corp., (TSX-V:CCZ) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary CriticalControl Solutions Inc. has been awarded a renewed three-year contract for an expanded set of imaging, analysis and information control services (the "Services") with a Canadian Provincial Government (or the "Client"). Based on current volumes, the contract is expected to generate revenues in excess of $2 million annually for the initial three year term and allows the Client to extend the contract up to three successive, two year periods. Given the expanded services covered by the agreement, Management expects the value of the contract to grow in size each year. "This contract renewal is a further demonstration of our leadership in providing critical information control services and our solid long-term working relationship with this Client," said Alykhan Mamdani, President of CriticalControl. "The new contract, which allows all of the Client's Ministries to access our services without the process of a tender, has been expanded in scope from the original and will provide the foundation for the organic growth of our business with the Client for the next 3 years." The contract expands on the current contract by allowing CriticalControl to provide imaging, analysis and information control services from within Government property and also enables CriticalControl to provide image hosting and electronic retrieval services. The scope of Services has also been broadened to include professional services consulting for Enterprise Content Management solutions.
