The real stroy will be ..................Mannatech's sugar pill - just that - a sugar pill.
Why doesn't someone actually come forward and say that this pill actually does something meaningful. With the many millions of dollars in sales that are promised and happening - why aren't they investing multi millions of dollars into actually proving that there is a benefit? I just don't understand the world I guess.
This has got to be quakiest set up I have ever seen. Every sugar that they put in their pill can be made by the body at will. Many researchers have already said the likelyhood that the consumption of these surgars cause a health benefit are so miniscule they are not worth investing research dollars into proving and I guess Mannatech feels the same way since their research budget seems to indicate that they have as much faith in the science as those researchers do.
But they have it figured out - no one can say that the thing doesnt work - by applying a science and saying that because we dont know if it works or not it must work and therefore until someone proves that it doesnt we are going on the assumption that it does. Prove us wrong. IN the meantime they put these surgars in some other stuff and say that we are the only ones who have the sugar in the vitamins etc. and therefore our stuff is better than anyone elses. If you are going to take vitamins and pay way more than you should then you need ours because we have put sugar in our pills while others dont.
Who gives a rip if they have 22 people in the medical department - what are they really providing for evidence. Their efforts are largetly marketing misinformation.
Give us a real research team with diverse backgrounds and commission them to do a study without limiting the information they are able to provide to the general public. Get some meat behind it but dont hold your breath on this one.
Of course this is just my opinion.
