RE: Strong Buy....Copper is moving higher!- No iguys, come on now. The price of copper has squat to do with the price of this stock. Why - plain and simple (and I dont know about the conspiacy theory), but until management can show that they have the production problems under control, then the stock will hover in this range regardless of where copper goes. You see, the higher it goes the worst it gets for CCU, unless it gets its production up. Why - simple every lb of copper that CCU does not produce to meet the hedge, means that they pay the difference to the hedge holder. So, yes it costs the company money to cover the hedge. Totally different story if they produce more than hedge quantity. So, only a few of us care about the price of copper. You have to come to your senses and see that this is a producer that has had teething problems- only thing is that soon it will be old enough to shave, so teething should be behind us, but they are not. The deposits are not what one would call high grade. They are relatively low grade and are of a reasonable size, so tough all the way around. 2 Fast has been saying it for a while that we need a couple of quarters of good production numbers - heck I would even take a month for a start where they get more than 3 million pounds, then the fun will begin. I fear that until these problems are behind us tha the stock will wallow (perhaps in our misery) at these levels. just my uninformed thoughts, but you judge for yourself - thats why they call these bullboards.
