TWO IMPORTANT B.C. SECURITY SERVICE CONTRACTS AWARDED TO UNITED PROTECTION SECURITY GROUP INC. (TSX -V:UZZ)
United Protection Security Group Inc.'s North Star patrol division in Surrey, B.C., has been awarded the security guard and mobile patrol service contract for the Ministry of Forests and Range, Tree Seed Centre in Surrey. In addition this division of United Protection Services Inc. has also been awarded the contract for alarm responder and guard services for the Delta, B.C., school system, under the terms of a five-year agreement.
Don Allan, chief operating officer, states, "The award of these two contracts signifies the growing market penetration of United in the Lower Mainland and the company's competitive advantage in a highly competitive environment.
United Protection Security Group has now, to its credit, a number of such contracts with major institutions and government agencies and continues to be a major provider in Western Canada of commercial and industrial security services.
