Ur-Energy Inc. is engaged in uranium mining, recovery and processing activities, including the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of uranium mineral properties in the United States. It is focused on uranium recovery and processing operations, in addition to the exploration for and development of uranium mineral properties. Its land portfolio in Wyoming includes 12 projects. 10 of these projects are in the Great Divide Basin (GDB), Wyoming, including its flagship project, Lost Creek Project. U308.BIZApril 19, 2007 High-flying uranium stocks buffeted by profit-takers Publisher: U3O8.biz Denver-based Ur-Energy Inc. lost a few pennies in today's trading too, but will gain millions of dollars after a syndicate of investment dealers agreed to purchase 15.15 million shares on a bought-deal basis at a price of $4.75 per common share. The newly revised deal will generate gross proceeds of about US$72 million, up from the initial estimate of US$60 million, "due to significant interest" in the offering. Ur-Energy is conducting mine-planning studies and permitting activities aimed at bringing two uranium deposits in Wyoming into production, and is also evaluating other projects in North America.
