High-flying uranium stocks buffeted by profit-takers
Publisher: U3O8.biz
Denver-based Ur-Energy Inc. lost a few pennies in today's trading too, but will gain millions of dollars after a syndicate of investment dealers agreed to purchase 15.15 million shares on a bought-deal basis at a price of $4.75 per common share. The newly revised deal will generate gross proceeds of about US$72 million, up from the initial estimate of US$60 million, "due to significant interest" in the offering. Ur-Energy is conducting mine-planning studies and permitting activities aimed at bringing two uranium deposits in Wyoming into production, and is also evaluating other projects in North America.
